Overall, I think this is an excellent hot water bottle kit. The container itself is water-tight, holds a fairly large amount of water, and the cover is a really high-quality and thick knit. I do think the cover helps keep the heat of the water in longer - which is great for treating cramping. I really like it!

Had decided to get this on a whim for my elderly MIL who has recently complained of aches and pains in her neck and I wanted to get her a reusable water bottle heat pack. The baby blue is one of her favorite colors, so that's a plus. The knitted cover is SUPER soft and adorable. I did notice that the cable-knit stitching is only on one side; the other is plain/blank. It's a stretchy knitted cozy that can be removed off the bottle if you needed to take it off for spot cleaning. Other than that, it's a solid, well made rubber water bottle that you'd usually see. I'd recommend this, especially if you want to to do some self-care in style.

Both the knitted cover and the hot water bottle itself are well made. It's been particularly cold this winter and family members have been borrowing my stash of hot water bottles, so I got this to keep myself warm. Though I suspect someone will 'borrow' this soon, too. It's actually one of the better ones I've owned - the cover doesn't leave fibers or fluff on clothing and acts as a wonderful barrier between me and the hot water bottle, which I sometimes fill too hot.The hot water bottle walls are relatively thicker compared to other water bottles (some feel thin and flimsy). That's always a good thing since having thicker plastic walls means less chance of leakage. The cover keeps the water inside warmer for longer.I fill it about 3/4 way full, with hot but not boiling water, and carefully push the extra air out inside before putting the cap on.
